    Hiking trails within 5-10 minute walk include: Thunder Mountain, Sunset, Bandit, Airport Loop, Courthouse Butte View Overlook, Carroll Canyon, Ridge, Coffee Table, Coffee Pot, and Sugarloaf. A Red Rock Parks pass is included in your vacation rental fee so you don't have to pay the daily parking fee required at all trailheads including: Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Oak Creek Canyon, West Fork, and Soldiers Pass. As our guest, you'll just hang your complementary pass from your rear view mirror and park without having to pay, just one of many extras you get when you stay at Casita Colibrí.

    Private Patio. Step through the wrought iron gate at Casita Colibrí and enjoy outdoor sculpture and seating for dining al fresco, bird watching, and star gazing. There's also a spa tub surrounded by a five-foot privacy wall. The custom made iron gate and security door by Cottonwood, AZ artist Ken Manford provide both beauty and protection, letting you enjoy the breeze without worrying about a javelina walking into the living room. The gardening service takes care of leaves and pine cone pickup, so relax and enjoy. The low-chem spa has custom therapy jets and less chlorine than the average shower, water has never felt so good.   • Master Bedroom

    The spacious master bedroom is approximately 20' x 16'. Antique Mexican wooden furniture including a carved wedding chest and original paintings furnish this romantic bedroom. Not to worry, guys, it is not frilly. A writing desk sits in the corner between two big windows with a Ethernet cable for high speed Internet and a fax/printer. Another big window shines plenty of light on the western-style rug and organic cotton bed linen. You can also look out for views of Gamble quail, road runners, and other southwest birds at the feeder.

    Kitchen Freshly painted sunny canyon yellow with no-VOC paint, the kitchen is fully stocked and includes gourmet and vegan favorites like a rice cooker, fancy and whimsical dishes, and service for eight or more people. You'll find Le Creuset, All Clad, Cuisinart, a rice maker, a silent dishwasher, Henckel knives, and many other items to delight gourmets.

    Living Room. Step through the double French doors into the living room. This comfortable, professionally designed room has authentic-southwestern beam ceilings, tile floors, and is painted with stunning canyon colors. Custom drapes ensure privacy and temperature control; when opened, the wall of windows fills the room with soft natural light. A Mexican armoire houses the TV, stereo, and DVD player.

    An extra long sofa and big leather chair invite readers to unwind after a long day on the trails or browsing shops and galleries.

    In the bathroom, a skylight and wrought iron fixtures mix modern with Mexicana. When the casita was "regreened" in 2008, a full shower and deep soaking tub were added to make the bathroom up-to-date.

While in the Oak Creek area, take the kids fishing, swimming or simply enjoy the natural beauty.
