A Red Rock Parks pass is included in your vacation rental fee so you don't have to pay the daily parking fee required at all trailheads including: Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, Oak Creek Canyon, West Fork, and Soldiers Pass. Private Patio. Step through the wrought iron gate at Casita Colibrí and enjoy outdoor sculpture and seating for dining al fresco, bird watching, and star gazing. There's also a spa tub surrounded by a five-foot privacy wall. The custom made iron gate and security door by Cottonwood, AZ artist Ken Manford provide both beauty and protection, letting you enjoy the breeze without worrying about a javelina walking into the living room. The gardening service takes care of leaves and pine cone pickup, so relax and enjoy. The low-chem spa has custom therapy jets and less chlorine than the average shower, water has never felt so good. The spacious master bedroom is approximately 20' x 16'. Antique Mexican wooden furniture including a carved wedding chest and original paintings furnish this romantic bedroom. Not to worry, guys, it is not frilly. A writing desk sits in the corner between two big windows with a Ethernet cable for high speed Internet and a fax/printer. Another big window shines plenty of light on the western-style rug and organic cotton bed linen. You can also look out for views of Gamble quail, road runners, and other southwest birds at the feeder.

Kitchen Freshly painted sunny canyon yellow with no-VOC paint, the kitchen is fully stocked and includes gourmet and vegan favorites like a rice cooker, fancy and whimsical dishes, and service for eight or more people. You'll find Le Creuset, All Clad, Cuisinart, a rice maker, a silent dishwasher, Henckel knives, and many other items to delight gourmets.

Living Room. Step through the double French doors into the living room. This comfortable, professionally designed room has authentic-southwestern beam ceilings, tile floors, and is painted with stunning canyon colors. Custom drapes ensure privacy and temperature control; when opened, the wall of windows fills the room with soft natural light. A Mexican armoire houses the TV, stereo, and DVD player.

An extra long sofa and big leather chair invite readers to unwind after a long day on the trails or browsing shops and galleries.

This overstuffed chair is just one of many comfy spots for settling in with a good book. You'll find books in the Casita on cooking, local wild life and plants, sustainable living, personal growth, spirituality, along with stories of the west and cool fiction.

Original art by renowned artists, including internationally collected works by Carole Callahan and First Nation artists Bill Reid and Alberto Vela. You can take some of these works by these artists home with you, so many guests ask about the art that we now have several pieces you may purchase.

Custom blinds made of wood from sustainable forests let you nap comfortably, sleep late, or just tone down the astonishing moonlight.

Colibrís. The window over the kitchen sink is the best place to watch for colibrís (hummingbirds) or in early morning, javelina making a rare appearance.

In the bathroom, a skylight and wrought iron fixtures mix modern with Mexicana. When the casita was "regreened" in 2008, a full shower and deep soaking tub were added to make the bathroom up-to-date.

Bathroom. A full shower awaits you with plenty of solar heated hot water and a deep soaking tub. You'll find soft, organic towels, lots of room for toiletries, and natural light from the skylight.

Sedona furniture maker Craig Nimtz handcrafted the vanity from local, sustainably harvested Alligator Juniper and manzanita. Setting off the handmade Talavera sink and tiles, this stunning piece adds SW to the eco friendly bathroom. Only fragrance free, green cleaning products used to make your vacation home a healthy home.

This kilim rug is just one of the many upgrades you'll enjoy in the Casita. The easy to clean tile floors throughout keep down the allergens, dust, and dirt.

Sedona is known for its great hiking and mountain biking. There are trails for every skill level and bike rentals available by the day. Or check out the "natural" water slide at Slide Rock State Park located on Oak Creek. Slide Rock is a red rock formation that is not only beautiful, but also works as a red rock water slide. While in the Oak Creek area, take the kids fishing, swimming or simply enjoy the natural beauty.

The magnificent Grand Canyon is just a few hours from Sedona and makes for a perfect day trip. You can catch the Grand Canyon Railway, an authentic steam engine train that takes you from Williams to the Grand Canyon and back. This is the best way to enjoy the great scenery along the way!
